The Chattogram Imperial College of Nursing (CICN) believes that learning is a continuous life long process & a personal responsibility, thus student must be actively engaged in the learning process to acquire clinical proficiency & to be socialized into professional roles.

Vision

The College of Nursing is a force for innovation, learning and discovery in preparing culturally proficient nurses for leadership in health for a global society.

The primary vision of the Chattogram Imperial College of Nursing (CICN) is to assist in developing a well-educated nursing work force that is able to serve the people of Bangladesh and provide patient and family centered quality health care. Nurses from the CICN will provide quality nursing care to individuals and families within the context of community that reflects a commitment to the professional nursing values of altruism, autonomy, human dignity, integrity, and social justice. So our motto is to establish an independent nursing college within the capacity of Imperial Hospital Limited. We had wide range of teaching staffs and demonstrators from different disciplines by which we will able to build our nurses as per our standard.

Mission

The mission of the CICN is to nurture & assist the development of individual’s potentiality to provide an affordable and accessible education, to be a professional healthcare provider capable of delivering a caring & holistic service to the people. CICN provides state-of-the art facilities for all the students with an aim to produce highly skilled nurses that matches with the need of health care employment market both in home and abroad with the mission to provide international standard healthcare and education. The college is operated by Imperial Hospital Limited, Chattogram.

The Objectives

Prepare Professional Nurses who will provide comprehensive health care to public with commitment and enthusiasm.
Develop Professional nurses who will render service in different levels of Health care delivery system.
Mould student as an individual, citizen and as a perspective member of the profession in order to uphold the dignity of the Profession.
Maintain the dignity & standard of the Nursing Profession.
Enhance the Professional Growth of Nursing through continued Research Process.
To serve as a base for further professional education and specialization in nursing.
